In maths we have been learning about Multiplication. We learnt about ‘groups of’ and ‘repeated addition’.
First we learnt about repeated addition. Repeated addition is one number over and over again and again.
Secondly we learnt about groups of. 3 groups of 2 is when you have 3 groups and 2 in each group which makes 6 altogether.
Lastly we learnt about arrays and the turn around. The array is when you have groups and columns. The turn around is when you swap the numbers around.
We had heaps of fun doing multiplication!
